What is an ultrasound?
Ultrasound technology uses sound waves to generate real-time images of internal organs and soft tissues. It is a safe, noninvasive diagnostic method used to examine reproductive organs such as the uterus, ovaries, cervix, and fallopian tubes. It helps evaluate symptoms like pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, and irregular periods.
Limited ultrasounds will be done in the office but if more advance ultrasound is needed you will be referred to radiology.
